I ordered the upgrade kit for my Shinobi. Unfortunately, the USB 2.0 ports are about 1-2 mm from an ideal position and therefore the USB ports would not flush closed without processing to the housing cover, but had blocked at the lower edge. Thus the use from a technical perspective, although would not have been restricted, the visual impression would however rather suffered in comparison with the original equipment. I have therefore the "USB-tabs", ie the version of the USB ports a little bent into shape with tongs, which has solved the problem and can not really tell.
Technically operate all ports and audio jacks perfect, just the processing would be a bit better for 5 star in my opinion. Anyway, it is really commendable that the manufacturer provides a cost-effective upgrade!
