What live version! Schippers is the brilliant craftsman a beautiful picture book is great and fun to hear the choirs speak French without an accent. This is not the case of Del Monaco and it makes its great looks pretty laughable but the character is endearing. Sutherland was in splendid voice, but without consonants. Krause is quite remarkable in Resnik Escamillo and Carmen is a very interesting, free, proud and voice is beautiful. The supporting roles are not the same.
