TechniSat Digicorder HD S2 Plus 160 GB hard drive

Installation problems to 2 satellite connections.
Menu navigation similar to Digicorder S2, which has passed without a single complaint for many years with me, no crash, not even during simultaneous recording of 2 programs and simultaneous playback of a previously recorded movie.
But that now looks at Digicorder HD S2 Plus much worse!
First, however, still the positives:
Image quality in HD-program (720p HDMI resolution, color space normal, 40 inch Sony television) hervoragend.
Also Stardard satellite image very well, better than with Digicorder S2, probably due HDMI port and scaling up to 720p.
Now the negatives:
Simultaneous recording of 2 HD programs in Timeshift is not possible without problems because, for example, a loss of synchronicity between picture and sound at least one of the two programs.
Even if only a running HD program is recorded in time shift, it happens that when you switch to another running HD program at this just is not the sound will be heard or again there is no synchronization between picture and sound.
Even when switching from one HD program without the receiver needs to perform other things, remains the picture are occasionally and the sound is running on. Here the examiner has only device off and on again!
These behaviors are to continue to monitor and then safely perform the warranty with the uncertainties that after a repair indeed all errors are eliminated (keyword: software testing at the customer!).
Assessment: image 5 stars, Software Terrible (taken into account when installing the latest version!), Only conditionally HD-ready .---

After many weeks of operation, it is now time to correct the review!
Obviously, the automatic software updates have helped that now everything is stable and keienerlei incidents were more determined as described above.
Therefore, after all, now 4 stars awarded to (but not 5 after all the initial problems!)
