The 4x4 Crawler (in German: "crawlers") from Lego Technic ... WOOAAAHHHH!
Yesterday the good piece came with me to the mail! So, open box, been brief flat, constructed with reference to the huge packaging and strikes going on! 1225 items in known excellent quality Lego.
Lunch started at 12.00 clock with, thanks to the once great designed Montageanleitug, construction to
then also begin at 17.30 clock, with the first tests.
For the assembly itself:
The manual consists of three booklets together (total of 274 pages). The booklets 1 and 2 deal,
this is with the assembly of the chassis. Just the two "axes" of the crawler, can already as
Model are referred to in the model! Each axis is in this case, single hung and again for each wheel
be driven by an L-motor (the crawler drives with two motors !!!) and hang on three points on the vehicle
itself. Specifically, two spring struts and a large ball joint. This structure enables the crawler
at the end of an incredible Geländegängikeit. In the middle of the chassis, there is the new servomotor which the
Vehicle now enables precise steering maneuvers. From servomotor while both axles are driven simultaneously, so that takes place the steering movement of the wheels on front and rear axle. Instructions 3 deals
at the end then with the construction of the beautifully designed body. Decorated will then herlichen,
to the colors of Lego bricks matching, stickers.
Aufällig on the model, is the prima thoughtful battery change (6x AA batteries, 1.5 V for the vehicle
and 3x AAA batteries, 1.5 V for the control Fehr (NOT INCLUDED), which means lift up the body and easy opening of a locking clip, easy access to the battery box
gewärt, SUPER !!!
Fahrbericht: anticipation, the crawler is NOT A SPEED MONSTER !!! With reference to the engine, this would indeed
possible, but the gear ratios are here designed for power transmission to the wheels and not on high
Speed !!! If you like, this may like to change in creative self-directed, but then in the field have some fun with the vehicle. I write here often "terrain". YES, I have the crawler of course, contrary to the
"Indoor use clue" of LEGO, of course, tested in the garden on rough and smooth !!! There is hardly any ground, stone, edge, etc., which can slow down the crawl !!! Inclines of more than 30 degrees are not a problem.
Aller thing I always make sure not to go in loose sand or water !!! One wants to finally long
Enjoy this beautiful model.
Stability: The vehicle is incredibly stable! Nothing drops out or gets broken, even rollovers by
Upset he puts away without parts loss. Nevertheless, be careful with "Him", so that the Lego pieces do not scratch !! ; 0)
Conclusion:
PRO:
- High stability
- Many parts (5 to 10 h HAVE FUN GUARANTEED !!!)
- Many own modifications possible (Mine has already donated a lighting get !!)
- B-model variant buildable (Online only)
- Extremely easy to use (my brother, 11 years old had fun with it)
- For adults a nice collector's item (I myself am 27 years old)
- Batteries last comparatively long (until now in total about 1 hour gone and still no change necessary.)
- Price !!! Could all thing with increasing collector status again extremely down
- Incredible climbing properties by prima translation, suspension and wide tires
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Outside with high sunlight streigt some of the camera sensor
- For children, depending on the skill with Lego, of course, a little difficult in Aubau (because everything has to sit in the right place and position, otherwise maybe it gets just a floor model; 0))
- Installation of two engines could XL due to limited space be difficult on the axles
I hope this review was able to help you. Have fun with the crawler ...!
