1) have tried the new 3 meter charging cables with different power adapters, my iPhone 4S does not determine that the charging mode is active; I did not send the cable back, because it would only cause more costs

2) for a possible image transfer to the PC is my PC on 3 meter USB cable no participants noted

3) The supplied power adapter is fine
