This is really the most terrible toy that I ever bought. We have our daughter fulfills this wish for Christmas. However, not joy, but frustration and sadness about the noise-making and learning incompetent thing was the result. The whole family has sought the little Furby to help by stroking and cajole to a better mood. But as soon as this thing is a little bit nice, the mood strikes back into evil for no apparent reason. That there is no button for volume control is inexcusable - the thing is just too loud. You can not even take with him on trips. The noise while driving is intolerable. By Geschuckel on bicycle Furby is again a bad mood. A pause button to transport him would be useful. Even the tight price of 80 EUR is really much too high. We would love the thing back again. From buying only inadvisable !!! My nephew both (6 & 8 years) have also each a Furby. When I consult for them, is the comment: Too noisy - too annoying! Had I asked just before ... a star because the Furby looks quite cute.
