The author takes us into an Afghan village to awaken us (size) on what became the status of women there (and by extension elsewhere) that religion gave power to men to crush a part of the population and make her suffer like this is not possible to imagine today. Is grafted onto the abominable Western journalist who, against his will, in turn, must suffer like she had not imagined to fulfill its moral contract. A terrible book, true, chaste, author inspired by a thirst for truth. Elisabeth
