Received on the date indicated and good packaging. It is a small pocket compass makes a size a little smaller than a palm, opens easily. It clearly indicates the North. In the dark tips of arrows and cardinal points are phosphorescent. Be careful not to let long term near devices with magnetic fields style speaker, magnet etc ... in order to avoid losing the proper functioning of the compass. bought into a "trinket" but not disappointed with my purchase because it works great I advise all for use outside or just to look pretty
