With this record, it even goes to the heart of what I like so much in the folk, social protest through the pure narration. In these songs, Guthrie resume point by point the entire history of these two "agitators" from the general context in the 20s up to the examination of witnesses and evidence, with his solo guitar, with a poetic verve and an ability to make the protagonists live quite exceptional. A really great man. Note that the last piece is in fact the work of Pete Seeger, which at the request of Guthrie to set to music a letter from Nicolas Sacco. In summary, no problem, this CD is listened to and even reads (thanks to the excellent booklet containing all the words with explanatory notes) with lots of fun.
