I cook a lot and of course always use my favorite knives and I have to say, holding the sharpness also relatively long.
Of course you can not compare it to a professional sharpener, but at home it's wonderful.
One point deduction, there are sure you can not sharpen the whole blade with small diameters (eg Kneipchen), since the housing of the sharpener in the way. So is sharpened only 8/10.
But I can live with.
