Just ahead: This VHS version is cut to 10 minutes and has a rather average quality. Therefore, I give only 3 stars, although the film deserved to be 5. Who does not know this film, has the 80 overslept. Van Damme first big smash hit "Bloodsport" tells the true story of Frank Dux exceptional athlete who won countless martial arts tournaments in the Asian underground and set up stunning world records for his time. Frank Dux is in the military and given the opportunity during Kumite, a forbidden tournament in Hong Kong to take on the best fighters in the world and to bring so large his decrepit champion fame. With the persecutors of the Military Police in the neck and every day the cruel death in combat in mind he starts a vendetta against Chun Li, whom he hopes to defeat in the tournament because he downed Frank Dux 'friend in combat. The whole is enriched with cool flashbacks, training scenes, flat jokes and this typical Hollywood, naive American visibility of Asian martial arts. CONCLUSION: martial arts classic! Movie awesome, 16er version bad.
