The anti-aliasing is not "bad", it just is not working.

I can understand the criticism of my predecessors well, the graphics in this game is really lousy. This was beginning to wonder at the latest, when I had changed the anti-aliasing setting several times, but absolutely nothing changed it.
And sure enough: a little research I found out later that in the shipping version antialiasing simply times not working. This will eventually rescheduled per Patch.
This is obviously a disaster, and I can only recommend everyone else to wait with the purchase until the patch is out. For if the game looks really miserable. Shadows with such pixel bridges in the lines I have not even seen on the C64 so bad.

Why do I still give four stars?
Well, if you concentrate on driving, it's really fun, the police is as always funny, the hunts make back mood.
The handling is again extremely arcade-heavy, and to learn without any problems. While there is an optical damage model, but that does not affect the driving style from.
The video sequences may perhaps be thematically trite, but they look good and make mood. In addition, every critic like the question be what he please because of a racing game for breakthrough ideas expected? The game is as you'd expect from Need for Speed. Action, Fun, good movies.
The one star I draw from because of botched anti-aliasing history, and also because I finally want one (of me from switchable) damage model that affects the handling.
