The art in Chaos

With Converge I have become personally quite late warm. Too confused were my first impressions of this band. I have fast, aggressive music has always liked to hear, if it is well done, but the distorted vocals have the whole picture yet very distorted at the beginning.
It was only when I heard longer and slower songs of Converge, eg "Wretched World" of this album or "Grim Heart / Black Rose" from No Heroes, gave me another impression of this exceptional band. So I found a slow entry into the brutal and yet so lovingly detailed monster that calls itself CONVERGE.
Judging by the milestone JANE DOE and the newest beast ALL WE LOVE WE LEAVE BEHIND I must say that they have increased from album to album.
AXE TO FALL last year but has captivated me the most. The extremely fast, but peppered with many accents breakers like "dark horse" or the title track in contrast with the sometimes slow slow ("worms will feed / Board will feast") or ironic folky songs ("Cruel Bloom" sung by Steve von Till - NEUROSIS !!!) make a great work of art, which is now already belongs to my all time favs.
