- 1.5 liter thinner green tea (infusion 2.)
- 75gr. Frey Nutrition Malto 95
- 45gr. Sugar
- 1.5 to 2g. Sodium chloride
- Lemon Drop
Both times I was tired afterwards, even hours later. I stuffed my otherwise after competitions, even short, in the target area before 5 piece of cake and other goodies in, so I forgot at an event at the weekend in the Wetterstein after six hours even to drive the aid station at the finish area. Exercise I let the bars and gels are left filled and only water or Iso.
This I push especially the Malto 95 in the shoes.
Maltodextrins are partially degraded starches (oligosaccharides and polysaccharides) with relatively long molecular chains.
With the same glucose availability they have a lower osmotic effect as glucose. This Malto is quickly absorbed and is also well tolerated.
This mixture in my hydration pack I had consequently
- Liquid thereby to counteract the dehydrogenation.
- Energy doing that was me because of different glucose chain lengths continuously available, as in
infusion.
- Through this continuous feed the risk was low that I would have to be hypertonic and as can happen with gel without enough liquid before in the bushes.
Since I have thus had the best experience with this Malto 95, especially as regards digestibility and price / performance, I ordered up another two kilos and look forward to a long, long trail runs a self-catering in the mountains.
