Since I was able to achieve most of the time only unsatisfactory results, the mere thought of the hanging wall cabinets, shelves or the like was the nightmare.
At some point I came across a TOX Dübelbox with screws for under 4 then at IKEA, which I actually took only out of laziness, because I wanted to save myself the subsequent transition to the hardware store.
I can say that this coincidence changed my purchase home improvement experience.
TOX dowel get the job done. Point.
You drill a hole (which is completely irrelevant whether in concrete, brick, plasterboard, ceiling cavity or whatever), knock a TOX into the hole and turn its bolt into any fixed. Done.
Even in the old walls of the new apartment that exist in my opinion from pressed sand and flour paper, I could bring effortless a wardrobe against the wall with two 8mm TOX. Admittedly, here one should pre-drill the hole for the 8mm dowels only 6mm, but that is a problem of the wall.
My personal highlight so far: hanging a hanging chair with a single 14mm TOX dowel in the concrete ceiling of the balcony of my old apartment. In more than a year use the anchor has not a millimeter from the ceiling moves despite peak loads with 100 kilograms in vertical train and oscillations of unsprung aufgehangenem chair!
