Those who come from an MS Explorer 3.0 and looks for adequate compensation,
will not pass the DeathAdder.
Which is similarly good in the hand and the thumb buttons are 2, ideally positioned.
If you use the mouse for gaming is a screening of the mouse wheel indispensable, what the "DA" also offers.
The wheel feels even quality as at the MS mouse is OK overall.
The force to press down the keys is relatively high, and the buttons are not exactly easy to press.
Are well fitted to powerful springs for the counter-pressure.
The surface finish is not smooth but slightly rough and feels like rubberized.
The mouse is thus good grip in hand.

Technology 100% (very good):
The max. Sampling rate of 1000Hz (important for Lag / Response Time for Games) and the max. Resolution of 3500dpi (accuracy / sensitivity) let themselves hardcore gamers to sleep peacefully.
Anyone else claiming what should look for the cause in itself.
Belonged during my youth the world leaders (HL) ..

Software 5% (unsatisfactory) or old version 80% (good):
current version:
Who thinks, I close times the mouse, and then install the driver shortly before it starts, will be disappointed.
Unfortunately, normal drivers are becoming increasingly rare and manufacturers are trying a more equal miss a software overkill.
In the case of Razer is a software with which one is forced to create an account in order then its settings in the cloud to store Razer (Razer Server).
Razer argued that one then has the opportunity to access the "Settings / Profiles mouse" from anywhere on his.
Who wants that? If you go to a Lanparty / Tournier one takes mostly with its own computer, or if a
is provided can take its settings on a USB stick.
The only one which really benefits the manufacturer who simply comes to data is so beautiful with which he can make, according to the license agreement what he wants (eg on to others, etc.).
In addition, it creates a dubious customer loyalty (customer thinks in which I eh already have an account, then I may as well keep the brand and does not need me somewhere new imagine).
Verdict: SASSINESS !!
old version:
If you google a bit you will find a link to the normal software.
In which you can then adjust pretty much everything you want without having to log in anywhere.
I have to set a screen shot of showing the full range of functions.

Durability 60% (fair):
I had the normal DeathAdder up on the LED animation is technically equal.
She has held about one year with me until the left mouse button has stopped working properly.
If you press the left mouse button once, a double is thrown.
What else do not I expect from the Black Edition.
When MS Explorer 3.0 exactly the same happened after 6-12 months (had 5 of them).
-------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------
Processing 80% (good):
The USB connector is gold plated and the cable (2 m long) is plastic coated (slides easily on the desk).
The surface finish feels high-quality.
-------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------
Gaming 80% (good):
Thanks to the excellent ergonomics and great basic data the mouse runs satisfactorily in each game.
Apart from the mast keys that might be smoother ..

Conclusion:
Lack of alternatives is the DeathAdder currently the best gaming mouse from a blow MS Explorer 3.0.
The durability of the mouse buttons is an impertinence and unfortunately affects not only the manufacturer Razer.
The optimum would be a MS Explorer 3.0 with the technical specifications of Razer, a stoffummanteltem cable,
and a shelf life of at least 5 years.
