I already had the two previous albums and they are one of my favorite records. Clear also I was initially wary, because the band from Tennessee happens to have its unique charm and to the fear many die-hard fans now the third album. All I can say that the boys have simply evolved and really can see (hear) leave. The band is still 100% Kings of Leon, but they are simply matured musically and it is a pleasure to establish this with any song anew. The opener "Knocked Up" is almost anthemic, attracting an already under the spell of the new board. No later than when listening to the awesome sick "Charmer" and "On Call" with his gruff bass line you're in the middle of the journey into the realm of the Kings. This sound later in "Ragoo" (together with "My Party" my favorite) even looking incredibly funky - the album in my opinion is just awesome, there for days leaves the CD player no longer. I can understand that some fans see the third KOL String as Stilbruch, for me standing here but the musical development and the fun in the foreground, you have definitely part of this great album.
