We now know the immense success won by this series, became the title track of the Sun editions. Arleston has yet imagined many scenarios in fantasy type world ("Cartographers masters" or "Fires of Askell", among others) but none has attracted such a wide readership that "Lanfeust Troy." Admittedly, this first volume is really well done. The world of Troy does not revolutionize the genre, but there are enough innovations to make it endearing. The fact that everyone has a magical power is a very good idea, which may result in an infinite number of funny or dramatic situations. Each of the heroes also uses his magic from this first volume. The characters are engaging, the pace is hectic, the situations are linked with beautiful ease. Side brush, Tarquin has a nice mastery of his art, and attractive graphics that develops partly explains the reputation of the series. Clearly, if you have never heard of it, do not hesitate to discover "Lanfeust Troy."
