This WMF output (Safari) with embossed animals (Giraffe on the fork, Leo on the knife, Zebra on the large and crocodile on the small spoon) is in my opinion, for people who want to give or buy a children's cutlery, definitely the right choice. In usual robust WMF-quality cutlery comes in a box with a gray inlay box.
The most important: knife, fork and spoon the two are truly indestructible! From cutlery even though the one may expect today anyway; in this case, that applies also and especially for the embossed pattern / animals. Especially with sometimes colorful applied patterns or figures I heard afterwards that even with high-quality cutlery sometimes after a few months of going on a little paint or color loses (especially if you put them in the dishwasher). This cutlery is not familiar with such problems. Nevertheless, it looks very nice and I have learned that children recognize the animals on the handles fast and because they look so cute like to close to the heart; The three year-old son of a friendly couple would his yogurt in any case never want to eat another utensil as with his crocodile-teaspoon - and the rest will not be touched without Giraffe and Co. ...
Otherwise the cutlery: I have had the experience of other children's cutlery that forks were a lot duller and especially the knife was also almost dull. One can find good, because children can not then so easily hurt. However, everyday life has shown that there is much value when children with her knife really can cut something and let the peas and another to actually impale. That's why I think it's good that this cutlery has rather face of forks, as well as a well-grooved knife edge, which makes the food even easier and children experience that cutlery is not a toy. When the food is gone, the silverware will disappear anyway in the drawer and then as always, knives, forks, scissors, light is not for small children ...
My conclusion: The WMF cutlery is a stylish and sturdy children's cutlery with great animal imprints on the handles, which is easy to handle for children's hands. A great, child-friendly and educationally valuable gift with style for little earthlings and happy eaters (or at least with this cutlery are happy eaters) from 3 years.
PS On the box it looks as if the metal of the cutlery is matt. However, it looks in reality exactly like in the picture at Amazon - it shines ... and also the children like my experience well.
