The controversial issue of Wellies

I need rubber boots. I am every day in the woods, crossing streams, face mud. Like many before me have pointed out, it becomes really difficult to find reliable boots. The famous Hunter brand has disappeared. Other trademarks are also bad. I had boots fail in a matter of weeks. Even good as my last pair of Aigle, lasted less than two years and costs about 90 euros. I studied a lot of notes on the products and the best that I could find were unisex Aigle Parcours ISO Wellies, ... but at a cost in the region of 150 euros. That seems a bit extreme. So I try these boots marshes Dunlop standards, very basic, but - if they work - fantastic value for money. My four star rating reflects that.

for:
>> Very good value. If these same last 3 months, they will equal the cost of ownership of my Eagles. If they last longer than that, then I'm a winner.
>> Waterproof to date (I intend to update when they start leaking).

Against, and why they do not receive a higher rating:
>> Wide adjustment, despite getting my regular size. I put not one, but two in each shoe insoles and they are still loose.
>> The ankle is wide too. This means that the shoe tends to slip, but so far with the insoles, which is not a problem.
>> The cleat pattern imprisons mud. It would be better if they were beveled.
>> They are not very comfortable, but I'm not the star deduction for this, for the price I did not expect anything else.

Well, they began to flee, there are about three weeks, so it is the use of nine weeks of my calculations. This makes them very expensive; I must replace 5-6 times a year at this rate, so that makes the cost of ownership by 60 to 70 per year. Need to start looking around again!
