Jacques Généreux is a great economist. But unlike many nicknames "experts" media that confuse things to do scholar, impress and use the argument of authority to the common man, Jacques Généreux is didactic: it uses a simple and understandable language, without however being simplistic. The economy is with him a human science, it really is. We are far with him using deterministic simplistic abstract models (which are also mathematicians laugh) used by many economists and "Robinson Crusoe" which we describe the man as an isolated being, no social bond predicate that common sense easily recognized as an oversimplification of the reality we all live. This explains the great success of his books. A book to read because it places people and common sense at the heart of the economy.
