The Edge 1000 can almost convince!

As successor to my Edge 800 I have chosen the 1000s, and the same order. As always with Garmin, the 1st version is often equipped with software errors, unfortunately, the 1000, which are then fixed successively with software updates. Well, 3 weeks after buying the update 2.3 probably the graviereden bugs eliminated, and a first summary can be written:
The device is good! From the visualization, design and operation, it is a significant improvement over the 800, and the sensors are also great, and are recognized without problems!
Navigation works well with the installed Openstreetmap card. In Netzt you find the layout even more beautiful cards that can be installed on the Edge. Those who have never had an edge in his hand, something has to be incorporated, but the network can be found already a lot of information for handling the 1000s (the operating instructions as usual to assess maximum sufficient for Garmin!)
If the 1st delivery status slightly better succeeded there would have been 5 stars. With the current software update 2.3, the Edge 1000 has earned the 5 star. Therefore buy recommendation !!
