the first best of ...

Just in time before Christmas (!!) the first compilation of the Sugababes appear under the title "The Singles Collection". The title, however, is somewhat misleading in only 14 tracks, two of which are completely new, if you were considering that a total of 16 singles in the last 4 studio albums decoupled.

It lacks z. B. the Singles New Year, Soul Sound and Run For Cover (however on the UK edition included) from the debut One Touch. From the first phase of the Sugababes with Siobhan Donaghy the megahit "Overload" is only included. What makes the fan then speculate before, whether it was intentional to Siobhan punish so that as Bandmitbegründerin left 2000 group, or if there were only legal problems, since the debut of the sugar girls at London label was published.

Nevertheless a repäsentativer cross section is pulled through the creation of Sugababes here that one can see quite a best-of compilation. There are the really important hits of Round Round up In The Middle and Too Lost In You by The Bottom Push contain. On top of it you simply put two new songs, can where New Babe Amelle show what she has vocally on the pan and over long distances more strength and volume while singing applies when her bandmates Keisha and Heidi.

"Easy" (current single) is a pretty catchy song, the somewhat without identity comes. "Good To Be Gone" (the next single), however, shows the band at their best and strongest side and is probably a small foretaste of what we can expect in the coming years so everything ...

... And that's to be expected with the Sugababes, each should be clear. Because here is not an x-any Combo retort but a grown over the years band, who played a major role in their songwriters and along the way to submit their own texts (see the credits) ...

CONCLUSION: a good disc for beginners - indispensable for fans ...
