What about this volume adventures of Batman? Well first of all it tells a story set during the early days of Batman's career. A fascinating story that takes from the first to the last page. When it was over, all you want is to read it again. The drawings are beautiful, dark and of showing the emotions of the characters. A well-written story and for many connoisseurs allusion to the film The Godfather I and II. In this album no big epic battle with Superman or other supernatural hero but a sober and dark story, a gangster story. This volume is deeply in the tradition of Frank Miller's Year One that continues to revisit the origins of the Dark Knight.
I really recommend reading the Long Halloween that will delight fans of Batman and will convert those who do not yet know.
