Not all people can express their thoughts clearly verbally to the point. As you type, you often corrected automatically or provides a set. That's when a speech recognition software that writes (ideally) what you dictated, involves significantly more effort. Generally, you really have to dictate every comma, every dot and every paragraph with, and must not forget that in the speech flow. Also stutter, falter and slip find their way with in the text. With a little practice you will be however actually getting better and liquid while dictating.
Headset

As a small addition is an inexpensive headset with jack plugs. However, I prefer to use my own USB headset.
Installation

The installation, the reading of training texts and the further training of the software have taken in my case, more than three hours to complete. For this process, you should bring time and patience. It is good that the deal directly to dictating texts with the program and already give a first indication of the use. If the language files adjusted, you can allow Dragon to seek in its own documents, or even in emails sent by text patterns. So are individual expressions are found and integrated. I have approved. At first I picked out of habit rather back to your keyboard commands. Meanwhile, I use almost exclusively voice commands.
The microphone is in sleep mode, it can be "on guard" with turn on. From then the voice recognition is ready to work. More or less, anyway. Although I consider myself strictly to the instructions, work 12 Dragon NaturallySpeaking is not always correct. Sometimes I get when dictating the message "Please say that again." But even if I repeat my words loud and clear, the invitation remains. (In addition I should mention that I speak accent-free High German and I also try to talk very loud and clear.)
Is irritating that the Dictation now and then arbitrarily opens when I do not need it, but it does not appear when I try to dictate anything. But then for no apparent reason other fields open. A sense of control over the program does not arise so.
However, everything works smoothly on other days. What causes this unusual initiative of the program, I have not yet figured out.
Accuracy

Writing directly in Word is possible. Initially managed the problems, and the OCR worked quite well with relatively few mistakes, if they were everyday, simple vocabulary. Errors in the uppercase and lowercase happen from time to time when words can be used both as a noun and as a verb, eg "Supervised" and "supervised", or if the grammar rules should be applied, eg "the" or "that". If you use foreign words and technical, foreign language expressions installs or dictated less well-known names, you have to readjust much.
Thus, from "Anglicism" only "has to countenance" and the retry "Anglicisms must".

The program aims to analyze documents regularly. This should help to improve the accuracy of it. One can for example, E-mail, transmitted over the objects, allow. It is in principle possible errors retrospectively also mend. When the program starts, it initially starts to display a tip. This but you can also hide. The accuracy is generally not too bad. But you have to get used to it, that you can really control everything with the voice.

Also because of the really promising statements Manufacturer my expectations were very high. Probably Dragon NaturallySpeaking 12 is especially for people a relief, tilling the hard and highly concentrated in the Eagle search system keyboard. Who can touch relatively quickly, however, perhaps blind, saves with this small, entertaining time wasters probably no time. Mir is the readjustment especially with long, complex texts too expensive, at least if it has to happen quickly. Without checking, I would be no dictated text out of hand. More productivity, more creativity, more control, more comfort and more freedom I have in professional terms at least for now still, if I do not use the program.
Private messages and letters succeed much better, because here everyday vocabulary is in the foreground. A big advantage is that you can almost sounds as if you really losplaudern fresh and free. At the close friends has been well received. Therefore, for this I use the program like and often. It is handy that you can post with voice commands something on Facebook and Twitter.
Coming versions I will keep in mind. Eventually it will perhaps really work as perfectly as in Star Trek (Star Trek).
