I did not care if there is a digit. SLR, a Bridge-model or a small snapshot camera would. Also the price played a subordinate role. The main thing I can do in a simple way many beautiful pictures.
With the Fuji F200EXR I found this camera. The special thing about it is the EXR mode. I prefer to use the Dynamic Range mode in bright outdoor scenes and the SN mode at parties and weaker light conditions. Clearly one has "only" 6-megapixel shots. That's enough but easy for printing on A4! The resulting images are partially better than the pictures that makes my sister with their Sony Alpha 350! Especially the party images are characterized by a very low noise and very sharp images from despite low light.
One should establish from the outset a second replaceable battery (there already very favorable for under 5 euros, which are good), because the battery lasts about 200 photos and you can not operate the camera by AC adapter.
Since I have very large hands, I can also say that the camera is also suitable for those. Although initially may times the middle finger are the flash, but otherwise the small camera is very comfortable to hold and because of its size always.
Even the unusual menu you get used to very quickly in Fuji.
Conclusion: After nearly 1/2 year consideration, I have decided to use just the right camera.
