I use the pump mainly for bicycle tires. The lever valve seals easily from normal car tire valves and French valves. A few strokes are enough to bring the air pressure in the tires back to the desired level. The pump has been for about three years in regular use and still works flawlessly. Wear is not yet discernible. This confirms the quality of the racing compressor, which can be seen visually and by the materials used for the rest.
