The increase in number 1

I have tested the Galaxy Note 2 now for 3 days and it was at this time extensively.
Previously, I had a Galaxy S2 and had toyed with the idea zuzulegen an S3.
However, I have instead waited for the Grade 2 and was worth it, in a nutshell, I would say, the Note 2 is still an increase from S3 in all respects and thus übertrumpht even the current number 1. Why this is so, I would like to show in key words and comparing to my previous phone.

- First, of course, falls on the form factor. Many around me find the device too big, but because it still fits into my pocket, I think that's not a problem. Of course you can better serve with two hands, but this is what is in this case the advantage, because if I look like someone with two fingers on a 3.5 inch display typed plays the format of the Grade 2 its strengths, Typing is much more conveniently and safer. I have, although I wanted from the beginning, a white unit, but decided in the end for the Titanium version, since these acts really very noble, in particular the ground "patterns", though many wonder why, if it's already scratched.

- Due to the enormous size of course, a 5.5-inch display is possible. This is shining brightly, has a really good resolution and has compared to my S2 not as oversaturated, but color-fast, even though it is tuned hue to warmer. The touch sensitivity is very good, you also slide well on the display and by the Gorilla Glass, it is also well protected.

- From a processing perspective, sitting with me everything bombproof, only the volume button you can easily teeter, the battery cover acts stable and sits thanks to many pressure points very firmly, but can be removed easily. So far, no paint scratches or the like. Only the S-Pen could sometimes be a little easier to take out, but in that it sits so firmly has it also not afraid you might lose him. Through one of the many clever functions of the Note 2 named S Keeper you will by the way even notified when the stylus is too far from the device, so that the well can not happen. The S Pen itself is also great in the hand, only the button could be a bit higher for my attitude.
The surface is actually quite smooth, thus I sometimes fear it to drop in comparison with the harsh S2 on the back, but it's just very classy. Fingerprints can be seen on the gray pretty good, keep nevertheless limited, had been worse.

- The Notification LED is just worth gold and I am very pleased that Samsung has these reinstalled after I have sorely missed the S2. It illuminates very clearly and, thanks to special apps from the Play Store can also be all set individually, various apps like Whatsapp offer this directly to.

- It is indeed only a mono speaker on the back, but I've never had such a good sound in a mobile phone. It is very loud adjustable, very clear and even good play bass, from the quality I feel it as good as the Dolby surround stereo speakers on the tablet.

- The camera delivers very good images and is especially incredibly fast. In my S2: Start camera, wait, it makes TikTik, ready to shoot image focused, wait preview appears. In Note 2: Start camera, press, everything is ready. It really goes so fast that you wonder. In the dark, the images are not great but good, and sunlight really very very good. The lightning strikes me even more so excessively garish before that one is blinded and illuminated very good nonetheless.

- The software Android 4.1 is compared with the ICS and thanks to the fast processor and 2 GB RAM absolutely liquid. Compared to the S2 even more programs appear to get in the background to stay, so it opens instantaneously when restarting. I had as yet no single stuttering and feel it compared to the S2 really much better. Although I have Touchwiz runtergeschmissen first when S2, I use it here even as it has become quite well developed, even if it is unfortunately still crashes until software update by certain actions, but this is certainly resolved soon. Likewise, true multitasking with multiple windows side by side is up to the browser and video currently not yet available to be via software update but soon replenished.
Especially great to Jelly Bean, I find the new Google Now. This is not just a super voice assistant, but if one is not afraid of data abuse, to search and whereabouts noted and makes proposals to navigation and appointments. If you're getting into it, this feature is really wow.

- This already great software is complemented by many little things that Samsung has installed additionally and give the device a unique touch. These features, however, are already at S3 available. For example. is here Smartstay mentioned (display remains on when eyes are on) or Smartphone turn to silently make or keep smartphone to your ear selects selected contact automatically. There are just so many little details that they only noticed gradually and are helpful.

- The pen input I use personally, not constantly, but it works very well and makes the note next to the large display. One has a little used to the input, I have rather to gently pressed at the beginning, for example, so that not everything has been detected. Especially the S Planner function with the pen is great or write for example. Shopping list. Even the word recognition and conversion of handwritten text in a font works really well.

- The battery lasts really long. I must say though that I have with the larger original battery notice any huge differences compared to the S2, but it comes with heavy use loosely over the day and during normal use even to just two days. Even recharging is thanks to very fast charger with 2 amps and requires only about 2 hours to fully charge. Curiously, the charging cable is also in the gray variant otherwise white, although one would expect a black here. For the size of the display the battery lasts really very good.

- LTE is not integrated at the factory, for this there will be another version of the Note 2, but at the present stage of completion and the collective choices I personally feel that LTE will be really interesting only in a few months.

- The same goes for NFC, with the score 2 has this function in the factory. Not really an issue, but then certainly for the future a nice feature.

- The most important thing at the end: The telephone quality is wonderful, one understands his opponent clearly and without noise or noise, even the speakerphone sounds good and not distorted.

Overall, I feel that Galaxy Note 2 so far as the most perfect smartphone that I've ever had.
It acts like an even better S3 with an even larger display and additional pen input and slightly faster processor. The advantage of Jelly Bean will be canceled so soon.
So I actually expect that it is the new number 1 is all, for me it is in any case.
