And was not disappointed with many songs! Popgasm has clearly these ingenious melodic choruses that I so love (eg especially in "The Whole Story, Rising Sun, Not Again, Monk Bay) without repeating thereby or to lean to ON THE WAY TO WONDERLAND. Popgasm is technically sophisticated than OTWTW, Sunrise Avenue have evolved musically, this is also largely remained faithful. But for my taste would have the songs like "Birds and Bees", "6-0" and "My Girl Is Mine" a rich "Back to the roots "and less strange gadgets done really well. And" Kiss N Run "would be even better if he had more rock instead pop in at the start.
It may be that the guys have since sometimes too listened to the record company ;-)
I like the new album very, no question. But must admit that I'm going to skip while listening to a few songs, while I have the debut album Up and down part.
Conclusion: The ingenious songs predominate!
