The last chance for AGP with good price-performance ratio

I do not know how nVidia did that, but the 7600GT is a terrific chipset. In most cases the GT-Versioenn were by the high clocking yes hot running power-hungry. But the 7600GT is faster and more power efficient than a 7800GS. A 7900GS is faster than one 7600GT, but currently very difficult to obtain for AGP. Still remain a few 7950GT models to choose from, which are considerably more expensive.

In my case, a 6800 with 128MB was replaced. It was worth it.

Because of the moderate power consumption of the card it runs stable even with my elderly 300W-Pention-4-ready power supply together with an Athlon 64 3200+ and two hard drives and an optical drive.

The overclocking capability of the card are extensive.

The design with two slot brackets is more honest than many other cards that come along with a rear bracket and still make it through the fan level the underlying PCI slot unusable. Whether the Lüftunsöffnungen must really the (probably non-directional) transmit in the second slot bracket airflow of the Card Fan greatly to be doubted. But the air is pleasantly quiet in fact. Hot is the card also not, at least not in normal clock.
