The lens is great. Since it has an EF bayonet, I can use it as the Canon full-frame (6d) on the 60d. It is the (older) counterpart to the 17-70er with the same light intensity (2.8 to 4) on the Canon 60D. That it apparently comes from the analog time, is not a disadvantage. The stabilizer I do not miss, because it is predominantly used as reportage lens. for persons who are rarely quiet anyway. For 85 - it was used a real bargain. It is not too large, the autofocus is fast and quiet.
