As early as the first single (Run it!), From his debut album "Chris Brown", hinted to his extraordinary talent, also has his voice back then delight. This was followed by four more studio albums and several mixtapes. Each of them has its own special flavor and none of them falls from high. Thus, a recommendation to the predecessor of "X", it is also worth a listen here.
Then I dedicate myself times its newest beast - the always and repeatedly postponed - album "X".
Song List:
1. "X" - The first song begins very atmospheric, the first slow part suddenly changes from about 1:20 to a faster - the ever-so goes back and forth. A very varied and good start that makes you want more! (5/5)
2. "Add Me In" - The text of the song has several bad dress and is very clichéd, but does not bother you to it, you can hear a really good song. (4/5)
3. "Loyal" - Probably every already known "Loyal" is in my opinion one of the best songs of the LP and immediately goes into the ear. Even after a long hearing - since release of the single - it's not annoying or you can hear his fill of it. The women have a poorer, leave for a richer man we heard all summer long in clubs or on the radio. Strong anthemic, playful Beat + = good features everything right! (5/5)
4. "New Flame" - we come to the next single, here he picked up and Usher Rick Ross into Bott and it became a rock-solid track. Nothing earth-shattering, but not very bad. (3/5)
5. "On 12 songs Play" - Accompanied by Trey Songz Song is a tribute to the R. Kelly Album "12 Play", to me personally, he does not appeal to absolutely. But who is to slowe beats, paired with great voices - the gefällts. (2/5)
6. "101 (Interlude)" - spacer, therefore no rating. (- / -)
7. "Drown In It" - The above-mentioned R. Kelly here closes at CB. In summary, there to say - goes like this. (2/5)
8. "Came To Do" - Now it's finally back around and it follows a track that makes you feel good. Akon here fits great and the beat is great too, but thumbs up. (4/5)
9. "stereotypes" - legal exceptional Beat is a "loyal" -like text hand. One of the better songs, but not particularly stands out. (3/5)
10. "Time for Love" - Linked for me personally to old songs from him, right up my alley! Another song which I would like to highlight. (5/5)
11. "Lady In A Glass Dress (Interlude) - spacer, therefore no rating. (- / -)
12. "Autumn Leaves" - Here vary the mood of quiet, thoughtful almost beautiful malignant. A roller coaster ride along with Kendrick Lamar, which results in a very good song. Could do with a hit that is not meant for the clubs! (5/5)
13. "Do Better" - is featured by Brandy and is a thoughtful, "bald" song. Is solid, but not worth much. (3/5)
14. "See You Around" - Now comes a song that is not common for CB, dominated by guitar sound. Something new that really like. (4/5)
15. "Do not Be Gone Too Long" - his latest single feat. Ariana Grande offers refreshing sound, which again is characterized by slow and fast passages. The two super harmonize on the track and deliver a good performance. (4/5)
16. "Body Shots" - After several thoughtful songs now comes a bit out of place, acting piece of music. Is more of a dance song, with unhappy text on the site. But listen for yourself ... (3/5)
17. "Drunk Texting" - the well-known drunk texts, yeah Everybody knows it ... um yes I digress ... is for me a mediocre song that however well complemented by the simple and pleasant voice of Jhene-Aiko is. (3/5)
18. "Lost In Love Ya" - could be seen as "filler", is there - but you do not need. (2/5)
19. "Love More" - strong dance song, but who also like to be part of the chill. Might even be familiar to most, so I will not go further on it a. (4/5)
20. "Do not Think They Know" - For many it may be surprising to hear the voice of the late Aaliyah, but that is what gives the song a special touch. It becomes the center of attention. (4/5)
21. "Fine China" - is a tribute to Michael Jackson, the retro sound in connection with Brown's voice lets MJ rekindle. This song is really him extremely well done - a fitting conclusion to the album. (4/5)
Conclusion: Chris Brown delivers again a high quality album, in which he once again reinvents itself. New sounds paired with "old" sounds, creating a varied and very audible piece of music. The songlist is put together well except for some minor mistake and no track musically serious falls from. Thus, from me a clear recommendation, this talent should be supported!
