The long wait was worth it - what a great album!

It took a long, up Wencke Myhre has added a completely new "Schlagerpop" album - 1994 released their last album, "I will love". In the past 4 years, the present album here now emerged. Without any time constraints, without a "must". Slowly so was an album that is a huge success and as a unified whole.

The producer and songwriter Rudolf Müssig and Christoph Leis-Bendorff have Wencke an album posted on the Body and produced that takes into account all of their musical facets, and lyrically between serious and humorous (but never silly) lyrics travels.

There are ballads, rock titles, mid-tempo songs - there are funny lyrics, for long texts, cheesy lyrics. Everything is there. As with Wencke itself.

The title song inspired on the first pass, the text is witty, the arrangement / the melody invites to go along. Likewise inspire songs like the beautiful "Your heart my heart", one of the single candidate, in my opinion, because it at least I do not get out of your head.

Particularly strong touches one of the ballads of the album - "Papa let go of me," a song about growing up, the stand on its own. A beautiful text, with a soulful singing Wencke that the text formally lived towards the end of the song, and reflects the sadness of the lines in her voice.
