Revell Airbrush 39138 - Compressor "master class" (Toys)

Customer Review

After my compressor (a Sparmax) showed approaches that obviously no longer could comfort him the familiar environment, it was time to look for an appropriate equivalent.
As a longtime modelers (focusing plastic model in scale 1/72, 1/48 and 1/144 occasionally) I first pulled the product range via Amazon for help, and it was primarily to distinguish between an oil pressure and an air pressure compressor, further should the price be given special weight performance ratio. Basically I work with airbrush equipment from Harder & Steenbeck, Paasche, and occasionally (if it is to go fast) sometimes a (favorable) replica is subjected to a test, which in my opinion is no way around to the products of the first two companies.
Finally, I opted for REVELL 39138, on the one hand a good offer, on the other hand I had already - can gain very good -Experience with one of these products from Revell, ultimately acceptable of the technical specifications and both quality and cheaper than comparable Sparmaxgeräte (Revell also used a Sparmax, however, in the master-class execution with double cylinder).
After extremely rapid delivery via Amazon, the device was subjected to multiple "test". Contrary to what the tank fills after measured 30 seconds. When working with airbrush guns with 0.1 and 0.2mm nozzle and 2.7 bar pressure to refill the tank is hardly noticeable, as with 0.3 mm, however, the compressor has to provide more performance when you work with 0.4mm nozzle strength want. (All figures refer to the work on models of magnitude 1/72) in the resting phase for connected gun and a 1/4 inch braided hose the compressor fills his tank shortly after measured 13 minutes.
The noise level is factory set at 50 decibels. I have no meter, but the feeling that the compressor 1 is quiet and not disturbing 2 and 3 also can not be disruptive to the neighborhood. Maybe even a little note this:
Technically 0-20 dB (Waldesrauschen, whisper) barely audible. The range of 20-42 dB corresponds to an alarm clock or "normal" noises on the street or in the house, in the range of 60 dB 40bis the conversation starch or a radio is to be settled (Source: Article in the Wiener Zeitung "The jitters in front Bimmel" and in the Süddeutsche Zeitung)
In short, in my view, the device modelers certainly be recommended. A good machine at an acceptable price. But if you want absolutely noise free and eventually work with several gun ports at the same time, you will be at a very good oil-pressure compressor, which, however, then the order of about 600, - not come will come to lie upward. But, as has been the French say, de issue is clearly debatable .about tastes (r) can not argue with it.
