Use environment:
I use the device as intended for surfing or thin client for remote desktop connections to virtual machines of different operating systems. It is also a practical traveling companion - be it films on the plane or mails and surfing the Hotel. Meets these requirements it with flying colors and a battery life that can be seen. (> 10 h under load)
Operation:
The boot times were already praised the excellent standby behavior but less. The 5 core of Tegra K1, the device makes so low power consumption in standby, that one can simply fold it problemos take it off. If required, simply open and it is ready for immediate use. The keyboard is very comfortable even for extended texts accurately and the trackpad and multitouch function well integrated into ChromeOS (I recommend a guide to the gestures as 3 finger tab-switches)
Memory:
The memory I consider really the only drawback of the device and originally wanted another SSD block (built is the m.2 SATA standard, 120GB etc plates of this design are everywhere erhätlich). The AC is loud Youtube also a breeze. But I have a 64GB SDHC instead simply bought card and they disappear completely in the slot. Already one has more or less 90GB for all important. The rest is now already in one of the many clouds.
Power:
Here I will only mention that the K1 masters all requirements with flying colors. Those who have read horror stories of Musiklags the tab-switches, I can calm down. The lag is possible only if the "Ok Google" activated in the settings and you go to the Google search (default new tab) will change. At that moment, the kernel switches briefly from the speakers, in order to suppress feedback on the microphone.
