The new 3DS

-Did The aqua blue variant and have to say that he makes a pretty modern and stylish impression at first glance. There are now no more rounded edges, but they are more likely to multiply square. Iff you fold the 3DS, is the top half, with the top of the screen, slightly larger than the lower, but bothers to keinste manner and also pulls no interference with itself.
I had previously the Nintendo DSL, and thus had to get used to the new distribution of buttons / controls. The Anschaltknopf is exactly at the bottom right next to the touch screen. The Select, Home and Start button are now directly below the display. What I had to get used especially, is that the volume control is now on the left side and the WLAN switch on the right side. Who wants to play with headphones, is at the bottom, center of a slot.

3D effect:
The new 3D effect was actually the main attraction, which is why I have been interested in this Nintendo. The menu, and everything was more to see in 3D at first a real surprise. It is also amazing that the effect without glasses or additional accessories works immediately and in not too many years of use makes no quirks. Who will here enjoy a 3D movie of course be disappointed, but that means you can not expect too;)
For the size of the display, it still works surprisingly well. Of course, I thought I was at the beginning directly to the safety and played several hours;) result was after a long time a blurred image gepart with double vision, then was simply continued to play without 3D.

Software:
On the 3DS certain programs, such as the Mii Maker, AR Games, Face Raiders, activity log and the Mii Plaza are preinstalled. On the Mii things I'm not a detail, because I have not used it myself.
-Face Raider is a very fun game that you like can play in between when one is bored, or when the main game is doing break. For longer game phases I would not use it personally now.
AR-Games, ie augmented reality, is also a funny thing. That suddenly arise from such a map all the small worlds where you can play is something amazing and always carries a wow factor in. For me, however, just another way to bridge breaks, so not for a long time.
-By Ativitätslog can be able to see when you have played and how many times how many steps you're geloffen. The former I find very useful, because you can perfectly understand therefore, when you played what .... safe for parents advantageous ^^. What exactly the steps counter is to be good to me not quite open up, as I did not have before to go jogging with the 3DS, but as a gimmick, it is certainly not wrong.

Camera:
On the outside there are 2 cameras, with which you can shoot 3D photos; on the inside there is only one camera. Photos shooting on 3DS comes for me not really in question, since I prefer to use for a camera, because you have a much better quality. To shoot 3D photos folds usually actually quite good, is very ungwohnt but whom the likes of kanns do it. Totaly I think the cameras are not necessary, I personally use them, therefore, only for minigames like Face Raiders, etc.

Games:
Since I do not intend to look at the 3DS Movies is the only 3D effect that really interests me the. On Matches Here I have to honestly admit that I am not convinced by 3D. I play therefore only very briefly in 3D, then change but mostly after a short time to 2D games and so on, for me, it's more comfortable, especially on longer period.
I have lying around a PSP, but Nintendo has simply to play the classics better ... so I pull the 3DS currently the PSP before :) just think of Zelda, Mario, etc.: D

Conclusion:

Apart from the fact that it is an imposition accompanied by a manual with 515 pages (well, it is in 4 languages, but still ^^) and that you almost can not find the pull pin at the beginning, is the Nintendo 3DS a top console. One might perhaps wish a bit more multitasking (because you can not open 2 applications simultaneously), but the Home function is a good start. The 3D effect is a nice gimmick, with which you can spend your time, fully mature, I find it is not for me.

All in all, I highly recommend the 3DS, however, who already has a DS and considering "only" due to the switch over 3D function, which I would personally advise you to stay with the old DS. Only the 3D function I find too expensive and therefore not enough as a reason to buy.
Who has no right games like Zelda, Mario, etc. will lose the fun of 3DS, even after a few hours.
Nevertheless, those who still do not have DS I get a buy recommendation !!

Especially the "WOW" effect when the console is operated for the first time just fantastic.
