The CD starts with the "Overture Delle Donne", which is sung by a female choir. Is a small compilation of various titles of the soundtrack. Then Daniel Day-Lewis the song must sing "Guido's Song". It is a nice mid-tempo Tack. "A Call From the Vatican" by Penelope Cruz is a song that not only erotic sounds, but also is. A slight number with lots of trumpets. "Folies Bergere" shows us that even Judi Dench talent for singing has. Then Fergie comes with "Be Italian" the Vocally very reminiscent of Catherine Zeta-Jones in "Chicago". Strong, loud and smoky. One of the strongest numbers on the album. "Cinema Italiano" of Kate Hudson is the first version that can be found on the album. For me personally, this is the highlight of the CD. A great song that summer feeling and joy spreads especially with his drums and guitars. "Guarda La Luna" by Sophia Loren is a quiet number that goes something to the French (music + text). Nicole Kidman sings with an "Unusual Way" is a beautiful ballad that Cardinal is accompanied by the guitar. "Take It All" is from Marion Cotillard and a somewhat more upbeat number. "I Can not Make This Movie" by Daniel Day-Lewis is a ballad again. The track "Finale" is an instrumental version of "Be Italian" - changed only slightly.
The bonus tracks:
"Quando Quando Quando" is a cover of Fergie. Is a matter of taste - to me personally the RnB number like better than the original. "Io Baci, Tu Baci" by The Noisettes is a nice mid-tempo number in English and Italian. "Cinema Italiano Remix" of Kate Hudson is back the song from the musical-trailer. Is something Popiger than the normal version. Finally, there is again "Unusual Way" by Frank Griffith. Perfect English and otherwise as in the movie.
