I have nevertheless repeatedly bought Canon (after a trip to HP with beastly expensive spinning heads), because so far the other price-performance ratio was right (duplex, 2nd indent, CD / DVD printing, individual ink cartridges, print quality and speed). In the mistaken belief that it is the same equipment with the same model as in 5350 I bought the 5650 without close examination (yes, I know - your own fault!). Annoying, is how far the series Canon slimmed:
no 2nd feeder,
no way, 120g paper printing via automatic duplexing (from the 1st try just jam!),
not a closed paper cassette,
no CD / DVD printing possibility more,
2 instead of 1 picoliter droplet size
and a total of more than inferior quality housing. The paper tray is already breaking from watching and from the rest of the casing creaks and wobbles ...
Conclusion: Well that Canon probably even with this printer (as apparently all printers with individual inks) will provide for the automatic destruction after two years - then I can get me something sensible ;-)
