The design of the USB adapter is quite successful and offers a very compact form. Unfortunately, there are also a few drawbacks, by this compact design. Directly on the card slot there is a small eye, so small that it is hard to use, also this eye is covered by a card inserted. No truly successful solution. Even the adapter is quite warm during use, this does not really make a good impression.
The MicroSD card EVO category is a UHS-I grad1 / Class 10 and is indicated with a transmission speed of 48MB / s. Here are Samsung no exact data on the read and write speed known. In a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0 4 I have a Samsung EVO 32GB card compared 10 with an older Samsung Class. The EVO was slightly faster in this test. So one can really say it's an evolution but not revolution.
The transmission speed with the included USB adapter to a USB 2.0 port as measured by HD Tune amounted to: Minimum 22MB / sec, maximum 29.4MB / sec and average 23,6MB / Sec
The special feature of the card is up there with the so-called 5-fold protection. The maps are waterproof, heat and cold resistant, magnetic safe, shock and impact resistant and x-ray proof. Gestest I have this protection only partially (saltwater and freezer), but it has a reassuring feeling that the cards are robust and provide some protection.
Overall, I would give it 5 stars for the USB adapter 3 stars and the map. Power on average 4 star.
