The original innovator is back. Ciara to the stage ...

So, today, it is now finally time. Ciara's third album Fantasy Ride is the world in the sale (at least on iTunes ...). As Gargantuan Ciara fan of course I got me the same concern and it can no longer wait for this country to come out the physical Verison. Here's the track list:

The album has 16 tracks with Bonuns songs (if you count the buzz Single Go Girl even 17). What is far more than the other albums I've held lately in your hand. But on quantity alone it does not come on. The original concept of Ciara with the 3 concept CD's was unfortunately rejected because Beyonce has so ascended something similar with their last album (who now who stole the idea is questionable, clearly is Ciara announced at the beginning of last year, this idea and therefore what truly innovative thinking). I have graded the songs with dots. 5 of 5 points was about the maximum (ie the star principle of Amazon similar), as I have sometimes done really hard for me in the classification I have some songs with half points evaluated. Also here is a subjective assessment which clearly does not have to vote for every so and should be used only as a guide.

The 1st "Song Ciara to the Stage" is also one of the highlights of the album, backed by a billowing Beat and bells. One can also clearly a vocal improvement of Ciara. (5/5)

Then the single "Love, Sex & Magic" comes with Justin Timberlake. For me, actually one of the worse songs on the album, but the video has become good, that tears the whole for me something out. (3/5)

"High Price (ft. Ludacris)" is actually my favorite song, much ATL should be banned in a song. For some, it may sound a bit strange, because Ciara sings in an operatic style. (That should be the first single. The "Oh" of 2009.) (5/5)

"Turntables", which was produced by Danja and in which Ciara was supported by Chris Brown (alone so it can already be no single;)) is the style something completely different and almost goes towards electro / techno. The India-influence is a nice thought, but somehow the song is totally overproduced and it just goes way too much in front of the song. But I think he would still come off in the clubs. (3.5 / 5)

"Like a Surgeon" changes direction again by 180 degrees. I was reminded of the song already at first listen to the songs of Aaliyah from the 90s. Beautifully sung. (4.5 / 5)

"Never Ever" the first US single used the sample of older songs. Nice song in between, but reminds me too much of "Love in This Club" by Usher. (3/5)

"Lover's Thing" is also quite a nice song for hours together, but not so insanely original. (3.5 / 5)

"Work", with Missy Elliot feature the clubs will bring to the quake. This is the club number 2009 (4/5)

"Pucker Up" recalls the Beat her mad at "Feedback" from Janet Jackson, but the beat is a little harder and underlain by sirens. A really good song with small deductions because you unfortunately already somewhat familiar with the whole thing differently. (3.5 / 5)

"G is for Girl (AZ)" is again the Ciara you know. The song comes from the genre back in the direction of Crunk & B, but not as strong as "High Price". Despite all a really good song. (4/5)

"Keep Dancin 'On Me" is a nice mid-tempo R & B song, you realize again the vocal improvement in Ciara's voice. (2/5)

"Tell me what your name is" is actually the only song from the album can not convince me. Only the chorus is really contagious and hangs totally in the ear. (1/5)

"I do not remember" you know conceptually already. It is similar to "Blur" from Britney Spears, it is important that you wake up after a night of open and can not remember anything more. Not really my cup of tea, but also again ne here real improvement in singing in comparison to the past albums. (2/5)

Actually, it's almost an outrage that the bonus songs are not on the normal album it:

"Echo" has a really hot beat (the Nightrider Theme is also sampled) and Ciara's vocals fit hervoragend it. (4/5)

Also, "I'm On" must not hide: Stylistically, though something like some of Janet Jackson's works, but made absolutely for dancing. (5/5)

Finally then "When I": When you hear the beginning you think, because a Benny Benassi production on the album has gone astray. However, the song turns out to be an absolute gem on the album. (4.5 / 5)

In summary, I can say that I find the album better than me. It is a pity that many of the songs have been known for half a year due to the many illegal leaks and thus diehard R & B fans probably 3/4 of the album will already know, but hey, all the songs have been reworked and I think for Ciara's creativity and their innovations that they bring with each of their albums, it is really worth spending money. It is for every taste and although the album due to the many different styles sounds a bit disjointed and not complete in itself, I think that is precisely what makes them special fantasy ride. Where else do you have on an album of music at the same time 6? Here you will find everything ranging from 90s R & B, pop, electro, techno, crunk and many things in between. However, what is really puzzled why Jive songs like "Never Ever" and "Love, Sex & Magic" as 1. Singles decouples when songs like "I'm On", "Work" or "High Price" on a Album has available.
