The Blade MSR X is the logical evolution of the previous model Blade MSR.
He has no so-called paddles more but is a flybarless heli. The paddles keep a Heli quiet in the air - which takes over now very convincing electronics. Compared to its predecessor, the MSR-X is now therefore also to fly out.
The Blade MSR X is a so-called Fixed Pitched (FP) -Heli - that is, it regulates its height above the speed. It is very stable in the air and you can perfectly learn with him changing to the CP helicopter.
One battery charge lasts for an average of 4 to 5 minutes. I recommend no more than three batteries to fly at a time, because the motor then gets too hot - with cooling breaks between flights the engine will thank with longer battery life.
This MSR X I have made the leap into the CP-world within 4 weeks. I have been every day in the garage of my office and trained the lunch break on my reflexes. For flight behavior:
As mentioned by the previous speakers, the right-hand corners are not a problem. However, the left turns are very used to. However, this is explained physically.
The right-hander is simply exerted by the tail rotor are more speed and the helicopter rotates on its own axis.
Left turns are "implemented" by the main rotor. in combination with the reduction of tail rotor speed this results in forcibly from drifting. Mir is not a Fixed Pitched known helicopter in which this phenomenon does not occur in a weaker or stronger shape.
The flight fun nevertheless remains guaranteed - the left-handers remain so for a long time a challenge and reward the pilot with the opportunity to switch CP when the small MSR-X is currently rules from all perspectives in the apartment.
For strength:
The helicopter is me in the garage innumerable times against concrete walls cracked. I have always tried to take away the gas - thus went virtually nothing important breaks. Only a small notch and a rod holding the hood at bay, victims of "air accidents" were.
Another important note: If you are flying in the apartment, then covers for monitors / TFT TV - on impact, leaving little else ugly nicks that do not go out again.
If you're flying with the small outside, you will notice that little wind can not harm him much. A lot of wind is the small but much lift, so you have to let him fly with little speed - which gives it again less agility and more flight time ;-)
I would highly recommend the helicopter as the perfect transition from coax to CP.
The next CP Helis I recommend one of the following:
- Brand new: The Blade Nano CPX (same size and strength, but very agile)
- The Blade MCPX v2 (Perfect for learning to fly outdoors)
- The Blade 450X - an entirely different caliber size - suitable for true 3D flight - but also very good-natured and suitable for real CP-fly.
Should you dare to switch to CP helicopters after the MSR-X, you always belest in the current RC forums to the optimal settings for beginner, so the first flight tests do not end in costly crashes.
Good buying and Happy flying!
