The PT-AH1000E replaced in my home theater to PT-AE100E has previously behaved giving good service 10 years. Due to the excellent quality of its predecessor (lamp life, no dead pixels) I decided to come back for a Panasonic and am not disappointed so far. The first shock of the box - the part is approximately twice as large as its predecessor. But after the installation problems were solved and the first Blue-Ray is cast via HDMI to the canvas .... wow !!! The sharpness is simply brilliant and the contrast is excellent. The colors are great, even if some of the presets seem rather strange. The recording of games from the Xbox and Kinect works brilliantly. The brightness allows film and television, even in daylight. Try a football match in HD in Sport mode .. incredibly sharp image. The variable lens with manual Lense Shift solves most problems as regards the positioning. Ceiling mounting and head over is also possible. Only the automatic regulation of the ventilation is too annoying. even if it is so extremely quiet at dark images, I can not think up and down the drive to more than when it is set fix. But that one can choose to do as one pleases. At terminals everything is there that you could possibly need, but I recommend only HDMI. So who has enough space for the really non degree set up small unit, is allowed to access safely. Reference Blu-ray test to Image: Life of Pi.
