Artpop (Limited Deluxe Edition) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Lady Gaga is finally back on album length and provides us with "artpop" one of the best album of the year. Like no other has excited their fans in recent months on the torture the uncrowned queen of PR. Piecewise she revealed more and more tracks on the album, produced repeatedly and made headlines not least attention with sensational nude yoga videos and an appearance in the Berlin cult club Berghain. Some hate them, claiming she was completely overrated, others revere as the new queen of pop. One thing is certain in any case that no other pop star gets much attention as Stefani Germanotta.

The New York native won alongside DJ White shaddow and the German-Russian DJ Zedd also Will.Iam, Rick Rubin and Madeon to make the boat to artpop special. And that's what it has become. Pop, Dance, some Euro-trash, a few HipHop bonds, many Pathos and you have a plant that will convince a back of her talent and the other will be again just tired smile. Perhaps out of envy, perhaps from antipathy or even for the simple reason that Lady Gaga's music is not for everyone just cause. That's the fans of Lady but surely matter and also the most radio listeners will be delighted again about the earwigs from the Hitschmiede Germanotta.

"Aura" has long been a presence on the Internet and has been used as the title track of the film "Machete Kills", in which the all-rounder Gaga also revealed her acting talents. Electronic beats, a catchy chorus, but certainly not a boring uniformity shoots out of the speakers when the opener of the work sounds. "Venus" and "GUY" shoot in the same direction. Lady Gaga has evolved since Born This Way, that's for sure, no doubt.

"Sexxx Dreams" is a track that are teeming with eroticism and sex, and Mother Monster goes on in the role of the sexy temptress. In "Jewels N 'Drugs' she surprised the audience with a successful Rappart her guest TI," manicure ", however, is again very pop. One of the highlights is then "Do What U Want" featuring R. Kelly, the vocals a little reminiscent of the good times of Christina Aguilera.

The mystical title track "artpop" follows next and is a successful breather before it rough right with "Swine" gets down to business. Techno beats paired with some pork skirt and a screaming Lady Gaga: An explosive mix. By "Donatella" wrote Gaga her friend Donatella Versace a hymn to the sufferer, who simply do not want to get out of the ear canals. "Fashion!" complements the song lyrically perfect, but is rather a weak track on the CD.

In the last third then offers "Mary Jane Holland" a coolness that one rarely gets to hear from other megastars of the industry. "Dope" is then the expected ballad that Lady Gaga can again prove their skills as a musician at the piano. The pearl of the album is called but "Gypsy" and combines the strengths of their previous album Born This Way with some 80s flair and an emotional text.

The first single from "artpop" "Applause" rounds out the disc from then.

Lady Gaga revolutionized "artpop" not the music world, but does what needs to do a pop star: She entertains the masses, a piece developed further and wrote a continuation of the soundtrack of Lady Gaga. Finally, you can view their songs as background music for the art that embodies Gaga off stage: to be yourself. Where Spears, Perry and even Madonna failed with their latest publications, Gaga is the pop music a kick in the butt and laughing themselves silly safe when their album is panned by envious people, but love to play the art police.

Over what Star and whose album will probably discuss in the coming days and weeks, the music world? Exactly: About Gagas "artpop". So much attention gets no other. That's what makes a megastar.

Great album a very exceptional artist!
