Eric Emmanuel Schmitt addressed in this novel, the concept of Buddhism. Compared to my other readings of the author (Children of Noah, Monsieur Ibrahim and the Flowers of the Koran, from the other), it was a bit disappointed. From a hundred pages, this book tells the meeting between Jun, aimless aged fifteen years and Shomintsu, master of sumo, amid zen spritualisme. Alas, this notion seems to me "overflown" and could have been further exploited.
