Designed in trade and business schools, "Influence & Handling" shows how the individual may be irrational.
From a practical standpoint, this book is also very realistic. The principles in this book are clearly stated and they show how trade, gurus, and more generally how men act and operate them.
The book focuses on several points including:
- Reciprocity;
- Consistency;
- Social proof;
- And sympathy.
Liked:
- The relevance and clarity of the principles outlined in the book;
- Small parts of the book that explain how to protect themselves in different cases of influence and manipulation;
- The various examples (scientific, historical, etc.)
- The reality of this book. (What tells the author is very current with what is said today: bounded rationality is very limited.)
- A book both theoretical and practical;
I did not like:
- The danger that can represent this book for some unhealthy people.
