My first impression:
First-class workmanship, nice design, ultra-slim frame.
Connection and setup:
Quick set up and easy to connect.
Once started you will easily done with a wizard through all the necessary settings. Without the instructions to unpack the unit was therefore fully functional before me.
The Image:
SD: The internal DVB-T receiver provides a good picture. When the antenna is correctly aligned course ;-). The image is Excellent extrapolated and is partially of a high-definition signal to distinguish.
HD: PS3, Avatar on BluRay pure and already works on the mouth! Sharp images, even during fast movements. Get dark blacks, and a luminosity which one even in bright sunlight faded (but only at the highest brightness setting)
I am not an expert what Clouding or terms other known problems, but I could absolutely see anything what bothers me in some way.
Unfortunately, the new 3D glasses with Bluetooth sync are not available yet, so I still have to wait for 3D.
Operation:
The menu is designed largely intuitive and visually beautiful. When switching has only very short delays (with DVB-T, remaining receiver I can not Nocht testing).
The Smart Hub is a fine way to expand the unit with apps or function menu.
The Sound:
Since I run the sound through an external sound system, I can not say much about it here. In the short test, to switch to external speakers, the device gave a very ordinary (for flat screens) sound. Deep bass and clear treble sound surprised me positively.
If anyone ever had problems with it:
I was so far reported no delays or a hang in transmitting the sound via the optical output. (The problem is my father at his Panasonic) Picture and sound are synchronous.
Extras:
My external 1.5TB hard drive was immediately recognized. Unfortunately the television for recording want to reformat the hard drive. Since this is not empty I want to avoid that and look now something's wrong with him for the reception. Playback from the hard drive works beautifully. Music, movies, photos in an acceptable speed, excellent image quality and ease of use.
He found directly via the WLAN My Notebook. Recognized the music and streamed.
The iPhone app has recognized the TV and Connected immediately, but is probably more of a toy or a miserable substitute for the corresponding remote control.
Conclusion:
As the seller said I had made my decision for one of the best devices on the market, he certainly has not lied. I have never seen such a good picture (and I have seen many devices).
It is worth the money for sure!
