I often listened to the version of K7 when I was a child and I always was arranging to fly my big brother, as I liked to escape "the land of the Indians."

It is a pleasure to find this CD selection today. With a more mature and more experienced ear, we guess that the songs were remixed, reworked to make them more accessible to the European public. What I find unfortunate in itself, it's so beautiful when the songs are "pure", without artifice, as a return to roots. This does not stop to get caught up in trip. Some songs take you truly gut-wrenching as the emotion is palpable in the voice. And this music is transportante. We want more.

This is probably one of Indian music CD loyal without falling into cliché commercial unlike most CDs sold at fairs and accompanying the troops of "Indian" in disguise, singing play back a insult to this beautiful culture.

This album is different.
