What changes? Their life: without using your hand, they will not unload (or almost no).
Their power is comparable to standard batteries.
And besides, they take very well the charge and discharge cycles.
I no longer use them for that: remote, bicycle lamps, children's games, camera flash etc. and I am fully satisfied.
