"The Romans" in a new guise (Software Pyramide) - now even cheaper! ;-)

This PC game was thought at the time for me to replace the Game "Caesar IV", the (obleich it would be suitable for it) is not running on my laptop, or just herumruckelt.
So there had to serve "The Romans" to my desire to build Rome (in 7 hours :-)), comply. And in fact, they hold first what they promise - "The Romans!"

The game installs itself relatively quickly and if the computer "online" has (ie the Internet is), there's right after installing the option to download the latest patches. I have also done the same.
In addition to a very extensive campaign (with which one begins forcibly, a kind of "Introductory Game" (tutorial) is connected) there is still the "free settling" in different, more or less demanding areas (opponents) or other challenges.
Control of the game is so Booger simple that even Settlers or Anno-botched candidates (like me) who rarely confine themselves to quickly get used to it.

As peaceful as female (:-), I prefer being dully around Settle, loving building of large cities and above all I do not like it when my people are hungry or provoked riots. All I can with "The Romans" for hours to simulate, or play. In some campaigns, there is unfortunately not so peaceful and you do not come without soldiers. This is usually the place where I ausklinke me of a campaign; unless it would be so awesome (optical) challenging as the last mission "The fog Reich" in (add-on "Siedeler - Heritage of Kings") where you can send this toxic nasty opponent in a giant bullets gene hell. But fighting in "the Romans" are not so awesome, unfortunately, why is there just only herumgesiede ... äähhh built ....

The game is in its fundamentals (control, behavior and needs of the residents) "Tropico (Gold)" very similar. "Tropico" is a slightly older PC game that I have gained very much in spite of its outdated graphics: Who would it not even like dictator, oppressed by hook or crook his people? Who would not like to because imprison all insurgents, influence, bribe - and sets out to it and to let it go for the rest of the day well with geschafften on page Geldern (long before retirement)? ;-))
Such nice side effects can not be achieved at "The Romans". (The Latin Sprchausgaben I have never been activated because I barely can Latin except my nickname.)
It is practiced by his people in all his demands to satisfy, or the honor of Rome to achieve.

As simple as it sounds, it is not but then, for the people (ie the 'AI') captures fast to whine. And once you get into the Not enough substance or sausage wares on offer - then ... Good night Marie! The pardons a game difficult, or starts a vicious spiral that ends in the fact that the otherwise brave Romans torching their homes. - That is the only challenge ... - if you (like me) do not like fighting.

The game is then but quickly become boring, the laptop very hot after a few hours, the control then begins to stutter, or to respond with a time delay. - Then it's time to go to bed ... And that's a good thing.
