It's a lost kid who looks for reasons to live and who does not understand the hostile and corrupt adult world and lets himself sink into the depths of depression. It clings to the memory of his younger brother who died too soon and his little sister will finally help. The character of 'Holden is endearing and mocking, and we follow aimlessly in these comical adventures, squalid and moving. The story is well written in a spoken style that is fun to read.
